#LIFEEUSharks at AquaFarm – the international exhibition and conference on aquaculture, shellfish farming, seaweed farming and the fishing industry – thanks to the team at the University of Florence, partner of LIFE European Sharks.
The researchers, coordinated by Prof. Giuliana Parisi (pictured here) and Prof. Gabriele Scozzafava, will assess the socio-economic impact on fishermen of adopting fishing practices that reduce shark and ray mortality. The Florentine researchers will also identify the role of attitude, knowledge and other variables in the conservation of sharks and rays.
