Il trigone viola, o trigone pelagico <em>(Pteroplatytrygon violacea)<\/em> normalmente nuota in mare aperto, ma d&#8217;estate viene sovente avvistato sotto costa. <\/p>\n\n<p>I trigoni sono pesci cartilaginei, come tutti gli squali e razze. Vivono oltre vent&#8217;anni, e sono vivipari: le femmine mettono al mondo pochi piccoli, dopo gestazioni di molti mesi. <\/p>\n\n<p>Osservali con rispetto: sono animali a rischio estinzione, molte specie sono protette.
