From Ravenna to the Gulf of Naples, in last few days LIFE European Sharks partners organised a series of meetings with schoolchildren to introduce them to the world of sharks. In recent days, Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn and MedSharks met with children from Torre del Greco (Liceo Classico De Bottis) and Sorrento (Istituto Tasso and Istituto Comprensivo Sorrento), with the precious support of the Municipality of Sorrento and Centro Sub Torre del Greco. Today, as we write, a whole day of conferences and meetings with primary school children is taking place in Ravenna, organised by the Coast Guard.
The Italian National Day of the Sea is a nationwide event designed to encourage everyone – adults, children, families and schools – to learn more about maritime culture.
