We were thrilled to take part in the second edition of “Mare Dentro” at the new headquarters of the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn in Brindisi!
The LIFE European Sharks project, with Antonio Terlizzi and Simona Clò, led an engaging discussion on the sustainable consumption of sharks and rays. A diverse and attentive audience — from the Marine Protected Areas of Torre Guaceto and Porto Cesareo, to fishing cooperatives, fishers from across Italy, and Slow Food representatives — made the event a real success.
It was a key moment to connect science, environmental management, and gastronomy in support of protecting our sea.
