A wonderful evening to raise awareness about sharks and rays at #MareInFest in Portici. Prof. Antonio Terlizzi of the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station, head of LIFE European Sharks, spoke to adults and children alike about the challenges facing our seas: from the fate of every piece of plastic that ends up in the sea, to the protection of sharks, showing images of sixgill sharks (Hexanchus griseus) in the depths of the Gulf of Naples.
