Alghero, 15 April 2025 – An exciting presentation at Liceo Artistico F. Costantino in Alghero, buzzing with excitement ahead of their exhibition showing tourists the threat posed by marine litter. At the invitation of Ursula Sechi, a final-year student and lover of the sea and sharks, we discussed with a group of students how to engage the public on complex issues – pollution, the demise of sharks and rays – which are invisible to most people because they are hidden beneath the surface of the sea. We shared the visual strategies of Clean Sea LIFE and LIFE European Sharks, which use colours, images and now Artificial Intelligence to reveal the hidden underwater world. Young, talented and motivated students with boundless energy!
