LIFE European Sharks is part of a global coalition of governments, organizations, and experts working to stop the extinction of sharks and rays! The coalition, launched today at the United Nations Ocean Conference, includes the governments of France, Spain, Malta, Australia, Panama, Ecuador, as well as international conventions such as the IUCN SSC Shark Specialist Group and NGOs. We are all committed to better protecting areas important for sharks and rays (ISRA), to more sustainable trade, and to improving the enforcement of regulations that protect endangered species. These are all activities that we carry out at LIFE European Sharks. Watch this TV report
